Associate Membership

Associate Membership is for healthcare professionals working in the Southern region including, but not limited to, physician assistants, perfusionists, nurses, nurse practitioners, practice administrators, data managers and other health care professionals who support and work directly with cardiothoracic surgeons.

Annual membership dues are $50, to be billed after membership application is accepted. New Associate Members pay a one-time $25 initiation fee. Members receive reduced Annual Meeting registration fees of $350 (compared to $450 for non-members) and are required to attend one meeting within the first four years of their membership to confirm active status.

Associate Member Application Instructions:

1. Review the requirements for membership and complete the application.

2. Have one member of the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association read the completed application, review the requirements, and sign the Third-Party Verification portion of the application.

3. Mail or e-mail the completed application and a current version of your CV to the address below.

4. Membership applications are now accepted year-round and reviewed multiple times per year. Once your membership application materials are complete, you may send them by e-mail to stsa@stsa.org.
