STSA 62nd Annual Meeting Abstract Notification Messages Sent

STSA received over 250 abstract submissions for the upcoming 62nd Annual Meeting, which will be held November 4-7, 2015 in Lake Buena Vista, FL at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts.

All abstract contact and presenting authors were notified of the Program Committee’s decision to accept or decline their abstract today. If you have questions or concerns about an abstract that you submitted, please contact STSA Executive Director, Megan Drumm, at mdrumm@stsa.org or 312.202.5864.

STSA accepted 72 oral abstracts, 13 video abstracts, and one history abstract for presentation at the STSA 62nd Annual Meeting. The program will feature a new plenary session titled Recognition and Management of Cardiothoracic Surgical Misadventures. Other highlights include subspecialty breakout sessions on the topics of adult cardiac, general thoracic, congenital, and transplant surgery. STSA is working to secure invited speakers to present on other timely topics throughout the program.
