Register for the STSA 65th Annual Meeting

The STSA 65th Annual Meeting will take place November 7-10, 2018 at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort in Amelia Island, FL.

Registration for the STSA 65th Annual Meeting is now available!

  • Register for the STSA 65th Annual Meeting online. Log in to your STSA user account to register for the Annual Meeting. STSA members and previous STSA Annual Meeting attendees have an existing user account. Non-members and first-time STSA Annual Meeting attendees should create an account in order to register.
  • Download a printable registration form. Completed registration forms can be mailed with check payment to STSA, PO Box 809204, Chicago, IL 60680. If paying by credit card, please register online or fax your completed registration form to 773.289.0871.

Please note that STSA members may only register at the reduced member rate if 2018 membership dues have been paid in full. Contact STSA Headquarters at stsa@stsa.org or 312.202.5892 with questions about your membership or to submit a dues payment.

Highlights for this year’s meeting include:

  • Kevin D. Accola, MD’s Presidential Address, “Reflection on a Career in Cardiothoracic Surgery: Maintaining Humanistic Values in a Changing Environment”
  • Welcome Reception on Wednesday, Nov. 7 which will kick-off the meeting starting at 6:00 p.m. Join in the casual Postgraduate Session titled “I Wish I Could Have Done That Case Over” to follow at 7:00 p.m. Wings, pizza and refreshments will be served.
  • Dinner Gala: Join fellow meeting attendees and their families for the always-memorable Dinner Gala, on Friday, November 9, complete with a cocktail reception, dinner, awards, and music entertainment. A local band has been added to this year’s program and will provide easy listening during the dinner hour. Make sure to add this ticket to your registration. You don’t want to miss it!

A block of discounted hotel rooms is being held until Monday, October 8, 2018, provided rooms are still available in the STSA room block. To qualify for the special meeting rate, be sure to mention that you are attending the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association’s annual meeting.
